I especially enjoy the challenges of creating intuitive, easy-to-use applications and implementation solutions
for large-scale complex information systems, including:

• learning and researching users, needs and behaviors;
• experimenting with and exploring concepts;
• designing collaboratively with users and with multidisciplinary teams.

I’m particularly excited by projects that engage a subject or a concept in imaginative and compelling
ways, and provide users with a deeper and richer understanding. Areas such as healthcare and prevention,
information visualization, and ethnography of environments are especially important to me.
